Biblical Understanding based on the Record of Scripture
The Christian Churches teach that the symbols of the Passover were changed by Jesus, from a lamb to bread and wine, and that the time of the observance of Passover sacrifice was changed from the end of the 14th day of the first month of the new year, to the end of the 13th day. Yeshua was the Passover sacrifice and He was sacrificed at exactly the right time Yehovah chose. He did not change the symbols the day before He was sacrificed. He honoured His Father's day and gave His sacrifice as the Passover Lamb at exactly the right time specified by His Father, and agreed to by Himself.
