Biblical Understanding based on the Record of Scripture
The dead in Messiah shall rise first, before the living. Would Abraham, Isaac & Jacob be considered "the dead in Messiah"? They would have been dead long before Messiah was born of Mary and died for our sins. This makes me think that the patriarchs and all of those who are listed in Hebrews as righteous men made perfect are actually resurrected in a barley harvest which occurs before the wheat Harvest. I do not pretend to completely understand how Yehovah has planned this but I know that what I have been taught, years ago, does not agree with the consistency of scripture. The consistency of scripture is that there will be 3 harvests and scripture does give some detail as to who is in each one.
