Biblical Understanding based on the Record of Scripture
We see burnt offerings commanded every day, with extra on each of the appointed times. These are a sweet aroma to God, yet we are also told that God does not desire sacrifices, sometimes even calling them a stench. We are also not allowed to make these sacrifices, as we are not priests. What is this sweet aroma that Yehovah smells from a burnt offering on the altar, and how can we produce that today?
