Biblical Understanding based on the Record of Scripture
The devil was created as a beautiful creature, qualified and selected to rule the world. He corrupted his appointment through rebellion against God. He has declared war against God and his children and is committed to our destruction. After punishment by imprisonment for 1000 years, he will be released to continue his war against God and his saints. The end of that war will be the total destruction of Satan, his demons, and all that do evil.
