A Venue for Biblical studies for the Ekklesia
Approved worker Trusting in YHVH Receiving the Word The Word of God Growing in Grace and Knowledge

Welcome

This web site is a venue for biblical studies based on a common understanding of God the Father and Jesus Christ that is not restricted by the culture and environment of being a church. There is only one Ekklesia but there are many corporations. The historical environment of the Churches of God is generally that you could believe whatever you wanted as long as you kept it to yourself, but open differences were not going to be considered. If we are growing in biblical knowledge and understanding, then what we teach now, and in the future, will be somewhat different from what we taught in the past. Also, what one teacher offers may be different from another one. We are imperfect beings with imperfect understanding so a range of perspectives will be shared. In the end though, all teachings must be weighed against the consistency of the record of scripture.

Mark Mickelson

Most of us who plan to contribute to this venue are near the end of our service as members of the Ekklesia simply because of age and strength. As a result, considering the present distress in society and the ongoing deception and distress in the churches of God, we don't consider this is the time or place to stand aside. True unity is not with each other, it is with YHVH and Jesus Christ. If numbers were a consideration then most of us could have just stayed in the organization we were in when we were called.

Inspiration

Colossians 1:23-26 NKJV

If indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

I now rejoice in my suffering for you and fill up in my flesh what was lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church (called out ones),>br> of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God (Theos-the Father) which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God,

the mystery which has been hidden from ages and generations but now revealed to His saints.
