A Venue for Biblical studies for the Ekklesia

Our Purpose

The purpose for this web site is to offer a venue for biblical studies based on a common understanding of God the Father that is not limited by the culture and environment of being affiliated with a church or organization. There is only one Ekklesia but many corporations.

The history of the Church of God is that you could believe whatever you wanted as long as you kept it to yourself. Open differences were not allowed. For example when Pentecost was observed on Monday, then those who argued for a Sunday observance were not tolerated, and then when the observance was changed to Sunday, the situation was reversed.

Jesus said "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me". Who Jesus Christ is in the record of scripture is part of our common agreement and part of the basis for what we will share. Our Purpose is not to engage in disputes but rather to offer studies for consideration. Some of the material offered may not be "the answer" but rather "an answer". Some of the presenters may well think they are declaring YHVH's own words, but we need to let the record of scripture speak for itself.

The answer to a topic under consideration is always found in the consistency of the record of scripture. If we have to choose one set of verses over another set of verses then we really don't know the answer. When each of us has to answer for how we lived our life and for the focus of our worship, it won't be enough to offer as our defense, our corporate position.

We want to worship and glorify YHVH and emulate Jesus Christ.

From the teachings on this web site we pray you will find a deeper understanding of scripture and enjoy a more personal relationship with our Heavenly Father and his Son.

Leviticus 23:34-36 NKJV

Speak to the children of Israel, saying: 'The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days to the LORD.

On the first day there shall be a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work on it.

For seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation, you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. It is a sacred assembly, and you shall do no customary work on it.
