Biblical Understanding based on the Record of Scripture
This study has pointedly reminded me that the prism, or paradigm, through which I previously viewed these scriptures, was taught and accepted without question or any true biblical scholarship. Hopefully, the washing of water by the Word will eventually cleanse the "stream of understanding" of the residual, obscuring silt.

I sought Yehovah and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed.
The poor man cried out, and Yehovah heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of Yehovah encamps all around those who fear Him and delivers them.
