Biblical Understanding based on the Record of Scripture
Before we head to the Feast of Tabernacles, we need to bring in the fall harvest. This consists of a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, which need to be cleaned, sorted, and preserved for storage. This is an incredibly busy time for an agrarian society. It's also a super important time as the food that is stored away at this time along with what was stored from the spring wheat harvest needs to last until the following spring. Is there anything we should be learning for our spiritual lives from this?

Leviticus 23:26-28,32 NKJV
And Yehovah spoke to Moses, saying:
Also, the tenth day of this seventh month shall be the day of Coverings (kippur). It shall be a holy convocation for you; you shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire to Yehovah.
And you shall do no work on that same day, for it is a day of Coverings, to make a covering (Kaphar) for you before Yehovah your God (Elohim).
