Biblical Understanding based on the Record of Scripture
So, are Religion and Faith synonymous? Some would say that they are and others would say that it depends on the religion and still others would say that they would not be synonymous. According to a thesaurus they are synonyms but not strong ones. If one looks at the definitions from the different dictionaries, some would indicate they are and others are ambiguous. So, what would scripture say about this?

Revelation 22:3-5 NKJV
And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God (Theos-Father) and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.
They shall SEE HIS FACE and HIS NAME shall be on their foreheads.
There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord (kurios) God (Theos-Father) gives them light. And they shall reign FOREVER and EVER.
